The start of fall & 15 weeks left

There are 15 weeks left of 2020, can you believe it?!? We all know this year has been something else so we just won’t go into that.

Today we’re going to focus on the start of fall and what we can do for the rest of the year to end on a high note.

I was listening to The Healthcode podcast last week and Kurt came on to announce #2020snotdead. I loved his positivity and accessible ideas on how to rethink the rest of the year. We don’t have to wait until the beginning of a year, a month or a week to make new goals or come up with new ideas and inspiration. You can start today! My goal for the rest of the year is to post once per week to this blog. I have lots of other ideas (renaming, getting an IG handle, figuring out my brand) but let’s not get ahead of ourselves. I just need to get into the habit of getting on here and writing. The rest will start to present itself when I’m ready. What are you going to do for the rest of the year to keep yourself accountable, and own the outcome for your own 2020?

Today is the Start of Fall! Fall is no doubt my favorite season of the year. I think I’m more in love with the idea of fall instead of the actual reality of fall, but that’s okay. If I could live in a perfect world it would be to travel to somewhere beautiful every year for the fall and stay for one month to soak it all up – fireplaces, chai lattes, baking, bundling up and going for walks with my dog while the colorful leaves fall. Don’t get me wrong, I love Colorado and our seasons but the fall here can be so unpredictable. I’ve heard east coast falls are stunning and I would love to experience that at least once.

I put together the above mood board with all of the things that make me happy about fall: fresh air, being cozy, bundling up, leaves changing, leaves crunching under your feet during walks, sipping on chai lattes and fancy coffee drinks, rustic hues, cuddling up by a fire, blankets and slippers, pumpkin picking, slowing down.

Happy start of fall everyone ❤
